Temporary Urban Space Project Part 2
We finally get to post the before and after of the Temporary Urban Space Project’s (TUSP) first event - Pulse. This video shows the unused space before with materials and damage. The after shows you what an urban space can become with an art installation, murals by a local artist, and some great music provided by legendary and up and coming Pittsburgh DJs.
This is also a great example of street marketing and what use of a unique space can do. In fact, the site is now hosting a diverse slate of regular events and is in regular use. After all, that is the mission of TUSP, to gain notice for an empty space and make a future for it.
This is also part of UniversalWit’s mission - to bring unique marketing using new media channels that provide for interaction with audiences.
Thanks to all who made Pulse a big success. TUSP will definitely be back with a project in May of 2009 and maybe sooner - you never know. If you have a space not in use, an event that makes sense, or a marketing challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
