Each week, we take a look beyond My Space, Facebook, and YouTube, at a social network that you may not have checked out yet.  Keeping with our scary week theme, we thought it fitting to introduce you to Sinister Space.

Sinister Space is a social network devoted to horror fans.  This genre is well represented and well followed with devoted fans.

SinisterSpace.com is a free community where members can post pictures, music or videos. Users can also submit blog entries, post quizzes or participate in games and activities. The Web site features horror and Halloween events and classified ad listings.  Open 365 days a year, horror fans can meet up with friends, check on horror projects, and generally discuss related topics.

The site accepts advertising and is a potential marketing opportunity for products and services that appeal to this customer base.  Sinister Space is an excellent example at how focused a social network can get for one genre or niche.  This focus allows you to get closer to potential customers and engage them in  personal ways.
