It’s Alive… TUSP

I feel like Dr. Frankenstein today on scary week on the blog.  I’m happy to say that my monster - the Temporary Urban Space Project (TUSP) is alive.  There are pictures at the end of this post from Pulse, the initial music and art event for the project.

I am going to tease you a little bit. TUSP will be making an announcement in the coming weeks about their December event to be held in downtown Pittsburgh, which will be a Guinness World Record attempt.  That is all I am going to say for now.  Tune in later for more or contact us if you are interested in sponsoring (Regional and National opportunities).

More Monster News…

The monster known as LinkedIn debuted applications today.  Members now have the ability to share files, presentations, reading lists, blogs, and travel schedules with colleagues. The changes are designed to expand on the job hunting and networking functions inherent in LinkedIn.

An application from Box.net lets users share and manage documents through a LinkedIn profile page, while Huddle.net’s program offers co-workers a secure online “workspace” to swap ideas, and team up on projects. Other new applications include a Google service where users can embed presentations on their profile page, and Amazon’s reading list feature, which displays what members and other people in their industry are reading.

I added the Word Press application to my profile so this blog is now available in my profile on LinkedIn as well.

In the creating a monster category, a new study found that allowing employees access to social networks was good for business.  Don’t look for your boss to let you troll My Space all day just yet though.
