Partnering on An Event Can Bring Street Marketing Success
Some times, partnering with another event instead of planning your own is the right way to go with your street marketing program. In this case study,the brand was introduced to a new demographic ans was received positively creating additional marketing opportunities in the future.
For The Planet Pulse, the mission was to create a buzz within the Pittsburgh market. A series of events were planned, including Pulse which was written in this space and happens on Friday Sept. 26th. Each event was tailored to reach a certain segment and build the eco-friendly, fashion reatiler’s brand.
The Planet Pulse is decidedly unique in its approach and will mark an evolution in retail for Pittsburgh. Their marketing plan needed to match this brand. The decision was made to partner with an event that had been running for 4 years now and had built up a loyal following. The event also had the cool factor with entertainment from LA, London, NY, Philly, and home grown scheduled to perform.
The Planet Pulse worked with the promoters to have prime placement at the event. Flyers for Pulse, coupons for the store, and the ever popular ring tone cards were provided for the street team to engage the audience. As a special extra, The Planet Pulse provided bottled water to the event with the company’s brand in full display.
The Results:
Many of the event goers signed up for the mailing list. The excitement and buzz coming from the event was palpable with many expressing how “cool” the store was for participating.
