Today we take a look at Twitter.  Twitter is describes as a micro blogging site that keeps you in touch with friends and family or people you meet on the site by answering a simple question: What are you doing right now?

You have a specific limit of characters as to how you can answer the question.  You can insert urls into your post.  Twitter indexes these urls and changes the to a Twitter format called a twitturly.  Your posts are often called a tweet.

The site is used by businesses to give regular updates, especially events and particularly those happening on the web.  Below is some demographic information:
