Online video continues to chisel into to normal tv watching habits.  According to the venerable reporting agency Neilsen, Some 162 million went online in May. Video posted some strong numbers with 119 million unique viewers and  7.5 billion video streams viewed in May 2008.

We expect the growth in online video to continue to grow, especially with Amazon’s announcement that they will begin a streaming service for tv and other online video soon on their site.

Marketing opportunities abound with viral video projects, advertising spots, and other sponsorship and product placement considerations.

This weekend we hope to revamp this blog by organizing the posts into categories to make it easier to find information.  We should have started this from the beginning so this would not be such a momentous project.  Learn from our mistake and take the tip of organizing your blog via categories.

We are also working on a new topic for this space - a discussion on integrating marketing with sales from a social media point of view.
